Grow Your Own Food Seed Pack 2022

Growing Food

Thank you to all who have supported us at The Free Seed Project by contributing to our campaign and receiving seeds! Through your support we are providing free seed packs to 10,000 people across the United States with low access to seeds and healthy food, while providing YOU with the seeds you need to gain Food Freedom!

This seed pack is the perfect way to start growing your own food! It includes a variety of 20 healing greens, hearty veggies, tasty herbs and a mix of pollinator friendly flowers. Enough for you to start a good-sized garden that can fill your life with happiness, health and sustainability!

This page serves as a resource for you to identify each of the seeds in your pack as well as get planting information for each seed variety. To get information about each seed variety, including planting instructions, click the link for each seed variety under the “What’s in the Grow Your Own Food Pack 2022?” section. This will take you to the link for the seed on Johnny’s Seeds.

Below are the keys to help you identify your seeds.

The first shows the Free Seed Project seeds that all program recipients and all supporters receive.  The bags are color coded to identify the seeds. Seeds with the same colored bag list a seed characteristic to differentiate the two plants (this information is on the mailer you receive with the seeds). The second key shows the seeds outside the baggies as a second identification source.
